What It Is

Radiance Complex Toner is a professional grade exfoliating AHA toner that utilizes our AHA-HydroX complex to give you brighter skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as reducing the appearance of dark spots and hyper-pigmentation.

AHA’s are liquid exfoliants known for their ability to brighten and even skin tone. They work by breaking down the bonds holding dead skin cells to your skin, sloughing them off and exposing new brighter skin. This makes them excellent at reducing the appearance of sun damage, hyper-pigmentation and dark spots while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

As the smallest AHA molecule, this ingredient offers the deepest penetration and fastest action, making it an exceptionally effective chemical exfoliant. It works by dissolving the bonds that hold dead skin cells together, allowing them to shed and reveal fresher, smoother skin. Its deep-penetrating properties promote skin renewal, helping to reduce the appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation while enhancing firmness and reducing the appearance of wrinkles over time.

This AHA offers many of the same benefits as Glycolic Acid but is significantly gentler, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It also helps strengthen the skin’s barrier, providing essential balance to the AHA complex. Its gentle yet effective exfoliation makes it a great option for those with sensitive skin.

Often hailed as nature’s most potent antioxidant, boasting a strength 6,000 times greater than Vitamin C. This makes it exceptionally effective in shielding the skin from environmental damage while visibly reducing hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and fine lines. Additionally, it enhances skin elasticity for a firmer, more youthful appearance. Unlike many other antioxidants, astaxanthin is non-irritating and even soothing, allowing for consistent use and optimal results.

Our AHA-HydroX complex combines the fast acting and potent power of glycolic acid with other gentler AHA’s like lactic acid and mandelic acid. Glycolic acid is the smallest AHA, meaning it penetrates the deepest and acts the fastest, so clients love seeing the quick results. However glycolic acid is too irritating to use regularly in high concentrations. That’s why we have combined it with lactic acid and mandelic acid. Lactic acid is gentler and more hydrating, studies have also shown that it is more effective in reducing the appearance of sun damage. Mandelic acid promotes cell turnover, while being gentle on the skin.

Astaxanthin (pronounced “asta-xan-thin”) is a naturally occurring compound that is often referred to as nature’s most powerful antioxidant, as it is far more powerful than Vitamin C or Vitamin E. This means that it provides even more protection for the skin, and is also known to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and sun damage, as well as reducing inflammation. Since it is known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties, your clients can use this product more often for better results than they would otherwise get.

This product is an exfoliant so it should be used after your cleanser but before any treatments.

This product is a great addition to your client’s routine. Since it removes pore-clogging dead skin cells, it will increase the skin’s ability to absorb the active products your client applies after it.

While this product is formulated to be less harsh, it is still powerful, so it should be used a maximum of once a day. A good place to start is every second day, with an increase to daily for those with less sensitive skin and reduced application for those with more sensitive skin.

AHA’s will cause some sensitivity to the sun, so you should apply at night and with a SPF in the morning. It should not be combined with Vitamin C or Retinoids in the same routine, so if you are is using one of these ensure to split these into separate morning and night routines. Also make sure you are not using any other AHA products with it as well.
